The Junior League of Waco purchased the historic Clifton House at 2600 Austin Avenue with a grant from the Cooper Foundation and, in 1995, completed its renovation. Recent updating and repairs were completed thanks to a grant from the Waco Foundation in May of 2006. The house serves as the permanent headquarters of the Junior League of Waco and is available for community use. Nonprofit organizations may rent the facility at special rates. Individuals may rent the house for wedding receptions, birthday parties, and other special occasions. A full caterer’s kitchen is available.
